He is survived by his partner Claude, father Roger Downs, sister Vicki Legere, nieces, extended family, and his first wife Peggy. He was predeceased by his mother Rochelle and brother Roger Jr. The family expressed gratitude to the Gosnell House staff and his healthcare providers. A celebration of life is planned for June.
