Darryl Lamont Jackson Jr.: Born on September 4, 1988, DJ moved to St. George, Utah, at the age of 15 and became a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as an ordinance worker in the Cedar City Temple and was known for his kindness and joyful spirit. He requested that his funeral be a celebration of life, with attendees wearing white or light colors.
Joel William Kroff: Born on June 5, 1948, Joel was raised in Tooele, Utah. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Anaheim, California. He married Marium Alice LeFevre in 1971. Joel served in the Army Special Forces and was stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and siblings. His funeral will be held in St. George, Utah, followed by interment in Tooele City Cemetery.
The celebration of life will be held at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah, with a viewing on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 9:30-10:45 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 11, at 10 a.m. at the Slickrock Ward Chapel, 2434 E. Riverside Drive, St. George, Utah 84790. Interment will be on Saturday, July 12, in Tooele, Utah.
