Mark Eckman Appointed as New Bishop of Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese

Auxiliary Bishop Mark Eckman has been appointed the 13th bishop of the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese, following the retirement of Bishop David Zubik. The announcement was made on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
