Lauderhill Performing Arts Center will host "Imagination Unchained" on June 20, 2025, at 8 PM, featuring Guyanese-American artist Dionne Polite. Her exhibit honors Black resilience, memory, and joy through visual art. Polite's work is deeply influenced by her Caribbean roots, exploring identity and ancestral pride.

Polite says, "It’s a time for remembering who we are and where we’ve come from. That’s the story I tell with every brushstroke."
