Magic Count on ‘Playoff KCP’ to Show Up When It Matters Most

Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner thrive on driving to the basket, and KCP's perimeter threat forces defenses to stretch, opening lanes for the Magic's primary playmakers. Looking back at the Magic's previous playoff exit against the Cavaliers, only Banchero and Jonathan Isaac shot reliably from distance. After a slow start where his shooting percentages dipped, KCP found his form around the new year and shot over 40% from 3-point range in the latter half of the season leading into the postseason.

His shooting provides essential floor spacing for the team's key scorers, Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Furthermore, his defensive skills and veteran leadership from previous playoff runs are expected to be vital assets for the team.
