Fatal Crash in Turlock Claims Two Lives, Investigation Underway

On Wednesday night, emergency personnel responded to a call at approximately 11:25 p.m. regarding a crash at Geer Road and Christoffersen Parkway in Turlock. Upon arrival, they discovered two vehicles with significant damage. One driver was found pinned inside their vehicle and had gone into cardiac arrest. Despite immediate CPR efforts, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

In a separate incident, Turlock police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Geer Road and E. Christoffersen Parkway around 11:30 p.m. A 22-year-old man from Modesto, identified as Elijah Bland, was found unresponsive and pinned in his vehicle and was pronounced dead. The other driver sustained major injuries and was hospitalized but is expected to survive. The Turlock Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this crash.

Both incidents are under investigation to determine the factors that led to these tragic outcomes. Details regarding the ages and genders of the individuals involved in the first crash have not been released, and it remains unknown whether alcohol or drugs were contributing factors.
