According to reports, José Israel Espinoza, the driver of one of the trucks, stopped on the roadside due to feeling unwell, allegedly without adequate warning signals. A motorcycle then braked to avoid the stopped truck, but a following truck, reportedly speeding, failed to maintain a safe distance, causing a collision. The impact led to the metal platform of the speeding truck embedding into the cab of a smaller truck, while the motorcycle was destroyed. The driver of the small truck was trapped and, along with Gafet Guido, a passenger on the motorcycle, was taken to a hospital in Tipitapa.
The police are conducting an investigation, and the body of the deceased has been taken for an autopsy.
