Charis, who now plays frequently and holds a respectable handicap of five, addresses the frequent comparisons to Paige Spiranac, the established figurehead in golf influencing. While acknowledging the parallels drawn by fans, Charis maintains she doesn't actively follow Spiranac's work but respects her contributions to promoting golf. She notes a deliberate shift in her own content, moving towards showcasing more of her actual gameplay and passion for the sport, although she recognizes that her appearance initially draws some viewers.

This dynamic occurs against a backdrop where golf influencers face scrutiny. Pro golfer Rory McIlroy previously criticized YouTube golfers as "entertainment adjacent." Charis counters this, arguing that online content increases golf's accessibility, especially for beginners who might lack access to traditional coaching, citing learning opportunities from pros sharing tips online.

Meanwhile, Paige Spiranac continues her successful career but recently reflected on the difficulties she faced early on.
