Hull FC Secure Immediate Signing of Will Pryce from NRL's Knights

Will Pryce's move back to the Super League comes after a stint in Australia with the Newcastle Knights. Initially making his mark with Huddersfield Giants from 2021-2023 (46 appearances, 17 tries), Pryce moved to the NRL ahead of the 2024 season. He gained experience playing primarily in the NSW Cup (16 appearances) and made 5 NRL appearances, including a try-scoring debut.

Hull FC had originally secured Pryce for the 2026 season, but successful negotiations led by CEO Richie Myler with the Knights allowed for an immediate transfer. The Knights stated they didn't wish to impede Pryce's opportunity to return home and secure a long-term Super League contract. While competition for spots and the future arrival of Dylan Brown at the Knights may have been factors, the primary reason cited was compassionate grounds.

For Hull FC, Pryce represents a key acquisition, offering pace, skill, and versatility. He becomes the fourth mid-season signing for 2025, joining Liam Knight, Liam Watts, and Sam Eseh, and adds to an impressive recruitment drive for 2026 which includes Joe Batchelor, James Bell, Connor Bailey, and Harvie Hill.

He requested and was granted an immediate release on compassionate grounds for personal and professional reasons, allowing him to return to his family in England and take up a multi-year Super League contract.

He is a versatile player who can operate at either half-back or full-back.

He has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2028 season.
