Seahawks Sign Elijah Arroyo and Nick Emmanwori, Completing 2025 Draft Class Signings

The Seahawks have strategically solidified their roster by signing both Elijah Arroyo and Nick Emmanwori. Arroyo, a tight end from Miami, was the 50th overall pick. Despite missing playing time due to injuries in 2022 and 2023, his speed and route-running ability are expected to make him a valuable asset in the passing game. General Manager John Schneider noted that Arroyo's talent level, if not for the injuries, would have made him a Top 15 pick.

Nick Emmanwori, a safety from South Carolina, also signed a fully guaranteed deal. His signing aligns with a recent trend of second-round picks securing guaranteed money, following similar deals for Jayden Higgins (Texans) and Carson Schwesinger (Browns). Emmanwori's performance in 2024, with 88 tackles and four interceptions, positions him to make an immediate impact on the Seahawks' secondary, which ranked 11th in the NFL last season.

These signings highlight the Seahawks' commitment to strengthening their team through the draft and addressing key positions with promising talent. With the entire draft class now under contract, the Seahawks are set to begin training camp with a complete roster.

Arroyo signed a four-year, $8.81 million deal that includes $6.87 million fully guaranteed.

Emmanwori’s fully guaranteed contract is part of a recent trend where second-round picks are securing guaranteed money, setting a new precedent in NFL rookie contracts.
