The affected products were manufactured between October 2024 and February 2026 and distributed nationwide, as well as to Canada and Mexico. Consumers are advised to check for establishment numbers P-18356, P-18356B, or P-47971 on the packaging and specific best-by dates ranging from February 28, 2026, through August 19, 2027. For Trader Joe's Vegetable Fried Rice, the UPC code is 00521482.

This incident underscores the vulnerabilities in food production and the importance of robust safety measures throughout the supply chain. While no injuries have been reported, the potential for harm exists, prompting a Class II recall by the USDA.

The recall includes frozen chicken, pork, and vegetable fried rice, ramen, and shu mai dumpling products sold under the brand names Ajinomoto, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei, and Trader Joe’s.

Do not consume the product. Discard it immediately or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

As of the latest reports, no injuries have been confirmed in connection with the recalled products.
